In the current year, 8.25 lakh students enrolled in the exams and8.09 lakh appeared for the exam. In the total appeared students,6,63,516 candidates got passed. So, the overall pass percentage is 83.75%. The board provides the grades to the students according to the marks they get. This year, a total of 41,428 candidates got A+ grade (80-100%) while 5,248 candidates received O grade (90 – 100%).
Talking about the performance of the boys and girls, so, the girls outshined boys once again in 18 districts. According to the reports, 53% cleared the exams in comparison of the boys’ 47%.
The best pass percentage was of East Midnapore and Kalimpong districts. The pass percentage of both districts was 90%. The total number of students who got the first division was 2,50,961.
