WB Madhyamik Result 2018: Statistics
Now in this section, we will discuss the result statistics for this year. So, around 11.02 lakh students gave the class 10th examination. Out of which 6.2 lakh were girls while the 4.8 lakh boys appeared for the exam. The board released the result on June 6, 2018, at wbresults.nic.in. The result was released in the press conference first and then at the official website. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 85.49%. This year the board conducted the exam from March 12th March 21, 2018.
Sanjivani Debnath topped the examination by securing 98.4%. Krishanendu Saha and Nilabaja Das have bagged the second and third position by achieving 688 and 687 marks respectively. Among districts, East Midnapore topped the exam by scoring 96.13% followed by West Midnapore at 91.75% and Kolkata at 91.11%.
