The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad also known as the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh is an autonomous organization working for the state in terms of education. The abbreviation of the UP Board is BHSIEUP. The board came into existence in the year 1921. It is a government organization. Its headquarter is situated in Sector 32, Tashkand Marg, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The official language of the board is Hindi.

In terms of the number of students, it is awarded as Asia’s largest board. It was established under the act of United Provinces Legislative Council. UP Board conducted its first exam in the year 1923. It is the one and only board which had adopted 10+2 system of examination from the beginning. Prior to 1923, the University of Allahabad was the conducting body of class 10 and 12 exams.
The UP Board conducts the examinations for high school standard i.e. class 10 and also for the intermediate i.e. class 12. There are hundreds of private and government schools are affiliated with UP Board. Every year, the board declares the result for more than 32,00,000 students.
UP Board Class 10 and 12 Time Table
The UP Board use to release the time table in the month of January. But from 2019 session, the board has done every activity related to the board exams a few days prior. Now, the students get the UP Board Time Table in the month of November. Exams use to be stared from February and the board tries to finish the exams sooner. The candidates download the time table from the official website i.e. upmsp.edu.in. The link of the time table uses to be available under Important Notices and Downloads. Just click on the link and the time table gets appeared.
The candidates can see the various useful information on the time table. It contains the exam dates, timings for the exams, subject code, respective subjects, and other useful information. So, it is very important for the candidates to download the time table. Apart from knowing the exam dates, it also helps in making the strategy for the preparations. UP Board Class 10 and 12 Admit Card
Now, let’s discuss about one of the most important documents for the candidates who go for the exams. The name of the document is the admit card. The candidates obtain the admit card from the official website upmsp.edu.in. The link to download the admit card used to be present on the homepage. To download the admit card, the candidates need to enter the prerequisite information such as the roll number and date of birth etc.
Other than this, the candidates get the admit card from the respective schools also. The students can also collect the admit card from the office of the schools. So, they do not need to get it from the official website.
The admit card attain all the important information related to the exams as well as related to the students. So, it is necessary for the candidates to have the admit card while going for the examinations.
UP Board Class 10 and 12 Result
Now. come to the most precious part for any student i.e. the result. The result of the examination is the most necessary document for the candidates and each student hope for a better result. UP Board declares the result in the month of April. Earlier, it uses to be announced in the month of May. But now, the board releases it sooner. To check the result, the candidates submit the valid roll number. Remember, the roll number which you enter to see the result must be the same as available on the admit card. Otherwise, your result will not be shown.
Candidates can see the necessary information on the result such as the name of the candidates, the roll number, enrollment number, dob, parents’ name, subject code, subject name, marks in the subjects, total marks, result status etc.
UP Board Improvement/ Compartment Exams
If you do not get the passing marks in the UP Board exams then do not be disheartened. The UP Board provides the second chance to those candidates. The students can choose any of the options such as the improvement or the compartment exams. In this process, the candidates can appear for the subjects in which they have failed. To do so, the candidates first fill the application form and then submit the required application fee.
The improvement exams use to be held in the month of July. After the completion of the exams, the UP Board also declares the improvement result. UP Board releases the result in the month of August. Candidates can get the result online on the official website upmsp.edu.in. In order to check the result, the candidates can enter the valid roll number. The roll number must be the same as present on the admit card. Otherwise, the result would not appear.
UP Madarsa Exams
Along with the regular board exams for class 10th and 12th students UP board also conducts the exams for the Madarsa courses. These courses include the Munshi, Molvi, Alim, Kamil and Fazil. To appear for these courses desired students need to register themselves by filling up the application. UP Board Madarsa exams conducted in the month of February.
