Uttar Pradesh board is considers one of the toughest education board. It is also one of the biggest in education board in India. The live updates on the result of UP Board 2020 result are as follows:

Result tab available on website: On the official website of UP Board, upresults.nic.in, the tab for downloading the result are available now but it is not active as of yet. It will start working at 12.30 pm.
E-mark sheets: This year, the board shall provide digitally signed mark sheet to the students, however, the original marksheet can be collected from their respective school as per the due schedule.
UP Board Result 2020 Time: The board is all set to announced the result at 12.30 pm. Uttar Pradesh Board official, Harish Chandra Sharma, has confirmed the time for release of result to media. However, candidates should note that the result might be announced pre or post the due time.
New session on through WhatsApp – Since the schools are closed due to COVID-19 pandemic, classes for next sessions have already started for the UP Board affiliated schools. These schools are carrying out classes through WhatsApp. The teachers are provided the course content through WhatsApp. Furthermore, the school education department has set up an online group for every block in the district.
How to Check UP Board Result 2020?
The result for UP Board 10th, 12th exam 2020 is declared by online mode only. To check the result, students may follow the instructions as provided below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the board.
Step 2: On the home page of the website, students click on the link for result.
Step 3: Next, you will need to login using roll number as mentioned on their UP board admit card.
Step 4: Click on the ‘submit’ button after which your result will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Lastly, students can download and take a print out of it for future reference.
What to do After UP Board Result 2020 is Announced?
Once the UP board declares class 10th, 12th result, these will be the following events which a student can do:
- Collect their original marksheet and other certificates.
- Take admission for higher studies.
- Those who are not satisfied with their result can apply for revaluation / rechecking.
- Those who fail in one or two subjects can apply and appear for the compartment exam.
The board has also started an online correction process in certificates. Students can apply for changes in the certificate issued through the website – upmsp.edu.in, or through seva kendras in the state. The correction in certificate is free of charge, however, a student will have to pay an amount of Rs. 100 in case of duplicate marksheets.
Did you know? Following the directions of Allahabad High Court, from the year 2020 onwards, the name, school name, and other information will be printed both in Hindi and English for the Class 10, 12 students.
UP Board Passing Criteria
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, UPMSP would be releasing the UP Board 10th results on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Deputy CM, Dinesh Sharma would be declaring them. The students can check their UP Board 10th, 12th results on the official websites as well as the third-party websites by 12:30 pm tomorrow. UP Board would release the marks in all subjects as well as the toppers names once the results are declared.
UP Board 10th Result 2020: Passing Criteria
Any student appearing for the UP Board exam is declared to have passed only if s/he score a minimum of 35 per cent in the particular subject. However, if any student fail to obtain the minimum passing marks will need to appear for the supplementary exams that are conducted after the results are declared. Furthermore, the students will get the facility of revaluation and rechecking of answer sheets in case they are not convinced of the marks received
Last year more than 58 lakh students appeared for the exams with 31 lakh in highschool and 26 lakh in intermediate papers.
