In 2019 total 58,06,922 students have registered for class 10th and 12th examinations. Out of this total 6,69,860 students have skipped the examinations. Around 26,11,319 lakh students have appeared for class 12 exams. This number is 9,15,846 lakh less as compared to the last year. Last year 67,22,768 lakh students have appeared for the examinations. Out of which 30,66,496 have appeared for class 12th exams. Furthermore, 72.43% was the total passing percentage of the students of class 12th. The girls of the state score total of 78.44% while the boys scored a total of 67.36%.
However, the passing percentage dipped by 10% as compared to the last year. So, In 2019, we are expecting the increment in the overall percentage. As the UP board is doing a lot of efforts in improving its management system. So, keeping in mind all the points we can say that in 2019 there will be an increment in the number of appeared students as well as in the passing percentage.
