Telangana Open School Society, Hyderabad came into the existence with the aim of providing quality education. It is also referred as TOSS. Under TOSS all those who are not able to afford education has attain admission.TOSS conducts the examinations for SSC and Inter class at the state level. TOSS conducts the examinations twice a year. It not only taken the responsibility for examination but also declare the result for the same.
TOSS examinations conduct in the month of April- May as well in the month of October. TOSS provides the school education upto the pre- degree level. For this it introduced open and distance learning scheme. At the same time TOSS organize the orientation and the training programmes. Now if we talk about the growth of TOSS then it is recorded that in the year 2010 and 2011 the percentage of the passing students was 43.29% and 68.73% respectively.
