This year, around 8.9 lac students are taking part in the examinations for class 12 from Tamil Nadu board. Considering the candidates gender wise, 4,60,006 boys and 4,01,101 girls are appearing for the examinations in the current year. Students will enroll in 7082 higher secondary schools. 91.3% is the overall passing percentage of the HSC students from Tamil Nadu board. Total 8,69,423 students have registered for TN board exams. Out of which 8,42,512 students have appeared for the exams and 7,69,225 students have passed the exams. As compared to the last year there is an increase of about 0.2% in the overall passing percentage. The board has released the result for Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational stream at the same login. The girls of the state have performed better than the boys. 93.64% is the passing percentage of girls while 88.6% is the passing percentage of the boys. At the same time, Thirupur with 95.63%, Erode with 95.23% and Preambular with 95.15% are top three districts securing the first, second and third position respectively.
TN HSC Result 2019- Science, Commerce, and Arts
Tamil Nadu board consists of the students of class 12th from science, commerce and arts stream. But the board has released the result at the same login for all the stream. So, if you are either from a science, commerce or arts stream then you have to follow the same process as mentioned above. As per the reports, students from science stream has secured 92.75%, commerce students secured 90.78% and Arts students secured 80.13%. 82.7% is the passing percentage of the students from the vocational stream. There are some boards who release the result streamwise. But the Tamil Nadu board does not.
TN HSC Supplementary Result 2019
After the declaration of HSC (+2) result of the main examinations. Most of the students are in search of the application forms for the supplementary examinations. The supplementary exams are for those students who have not able to clear their examination in the first attempt. So, for those Tamil Nadu board going to conduct the class 12th supplementary exams from June 06 to 13. After the examinations, students received their result in the month of July. On May 16, 2018, Tamil Nadu board has declared the HSC (+2) result. The board has conducted the class 12th examinations in the month of March from 01 to April 06, 2018. Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) is the state board which takes the responsibility of the examinations at the state level.
