Tamil Nadu board is going to start the SSLC exams from the third week of March 2020. Once the exams are over, the board will come up with the result. Last year, the result for SSLC students was out on April 29. For the upcoming academic year, Tamil Nadu board has confirmed the result date earlier. Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2020 Date And Time
Tamil Nadu board releases the 10th result in the month of April. Here, in this session, we have discussed the result date and time of the previous five years. The students can get an estimate idea of the date and time of declaration of result for the upcoming academic session.

Steps To Check Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2020
Tamil Nadu Board releases the SSLC result on its official login. Given below are some of the easy steps which the students can follow to check the result.
Step.1- Firstly, visit the official website. To do so, you can click on the link provided on this page.
Step.2- Once you will click on the link, a new page will appear in front of you. On this page, you need to click on the “SSLC Exam- March 2020 Results” link.
Step.3- As you do so, a new login window will appear on the screen. Here, you need to enter your login details such as registration number and date of birth.
Step.4- After filling all the details, click on the Get Marks button.

Previous Year Stats of Tamil Nadu SSLC Result
Every year, lakhs of students appear in the 10th exam. Due to the increase in the number of candidates, the competition also increases. Here, in this session, we have discussed the previous year stats of the 10th result. The students can have a look at it to know how much they need to study to beat other students. Last year, Tamil Nadu board conducted class 10th exams from March 19 to 29. Exactly after one month of completion of exam, the board came up with the result for the same on April 29 at 9:30 am. A total of 9,76,019 students were registered for the SSLC exams. Out of these students, 8,92,521 students cleared the exam. The overall pass percentage was 95.2%. While the overall pass percentage was boys and girls was calculated to be 97% and 93.3% respectively.

Tamil Nadu SSLC Supplementary Result 2020
After checking the result, the qualified students will move to next level of higher education. But what about students who will not be able to clear the exam? Such students will be given a second chance to clear the exam. Tamil Nadu board conducts the supplementary exams for such students. Supplementary exams are a second chance given to the students to qualify the exam with minimum required marks. Supplementary exams take place in the month of June. While the supplementary result releases by the second week of July. To check the result, the students need to enter their registration number, date of birth and the code provided.
Last year, the Tamil Nadu board conducted class 10 supplementary exams from June 14 to 22. After the completion of the exams, the board came up with the supplementary result on July 12.
TN SSLC Re-Totalling 2020 Result
Once the result is declared, some students are not satisfied with the marks they have scored. Such students can apply for the process of retotalling. Re-totalling refers to the process of calculating the marks again to ensure that the calculation is done correctly. To apply for this process, the students need to fill an application form. The form releases online on the official website. Apart from the form, the students have to pay a certain amount of application fee as well. Once the forms are over, Tamil Nadu board releases the retotaling result by the last week of May. Re-totaling result is released in the pdf format. The pdf consists of registration numbers of all those students who have got their marks changed.
The prior year, Tamil Nadu made the availability of application forms from May 02 to 04. The forms were available on the official website. The application fee to be submitted was Rs 305 for the Language Subjects Including English and Rs 205 for the other subjects. After the completion of forms, the board came up with the result for the same. The re-totalling result was released on May 27.
What After TN 10th Result 2020
After checking the result, the qualified students will move to the next level i.e class 11th. For class 11, the students need to select a stream of their choice and like. The list of streams provided to the students includes Science, Arts and Commerce. Students need to make this decision very carefully and wisely. Apart from this, the students can also go for diploma courses. You can go for a diploma in Commercial Art, Beauty Culture and Hair Dressing, Engineering Diploma, Laboratory Technician Diploma etc.

Directorate of Government Examinations came into existence in the year 1911. It is popularly known as DGE. Tamil Nadu board is responsible for conducting the board examination of SSLC and HSE students. The exams for class 10 and 12 take place in the month of March. After the completion of the exams, Tamil Nadu booard also holds the responsibility of releasing the result for the same. SSLC and HSE result releases on the official website by the month of April and May. Apart from this, the board also conducts the exams for Diploma in Elementary Education, Government Technical Examinations and ESLC.
