Latest – Tamil Nadu govt to decide on Class 12 Board Exams 2021 in two days
The Tamil Nadu govt has stated that a final decision regarding the class 12th board exams will be announced on June 4, 2021. The announcement has been made after CBSE and CISCE announced the cancellation of the 12th board exams 2021 for this academic session in view of the prevailing Covid-19 conditions across the country.
A helpline has also been started for concerned students, teachers, and educationalists to give their opinion on holding the 12th board exams. The helpline details as follows:

Latest – As per news reports, the education mister of Tamil Nadu, Anbil Mahes Poyyamozhi, has informed that TN exams will be held offline. He also said that the exams will be held in the usual exam pattern and will be for 3 hours.
This has put an end to rumors that exams will held online. The schedule for exam will be out once the health department access the situation in the state.

Tamil Nadu 12th Class 2021 Passing Criteria
To pass TN 12th class examination, the students need 35 marks out of 100 in each of the 6 subjects. For the subjects with practical, theory papers are of 70 marks out of which, 15 marks for the subject and total 35 marks are required. The practical is of 20 marks and the internal is of 10 marks.
