Previous Year Statistics of TN 11th Result
Here, we are with the overall performance of students of class 11 students. Last year Tamil Nadu board conducted the class 11 exams from March 06 to 22. The result for the same was annnounced on May 08 at 9:30 am. The notification for confirming the result date and time has been released a day prior the result. Both private and regular (school) candidates appeared for exams. As per the date available a total of 8,06,799 students appeared for exams. Out of this total 3,66,596 were the number of boys and 4,35,176 were the number of girls. The overall passing percentage of students was 95.0% which was higher than its previous year. In 2018 the overall passing percentage was 91.3%.
Pass percentage for boys was 93.3% while the passing percentage for girls was 96.5%. It means that the girls of the state perform better than the boys. Class 11 students are from the different streams such as Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational. Passing percentage of the students from the Science stream score 93.91%. While the students from the commerce stream scored total 97.40%. Passs percentage of the students from Arts stream was 95.12% and the Vocational stream was 92.34%.
