Sainik School Admission 2021-22 – National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result for Sainik School Admission 2021 for the exam conducted on February 7, 2021. Students can check their result for classes 6 and 9 online at aissee.nta.nic.in. To check it, application number and password is needed by the students. The entrance test is conducted for admission in class Vi and IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country. The final selection of the students is done based on school-wise, classwise, category-wise rank in the merit list in the entrance exam. Sainik School Passing / Cut Off Marks 2021
In order to pass the entrance exam, candidates will need to obtain the minimum passing marks as set by NTA. To be eligible for admission to the Sainik Schools, a student will need to secures a minimum of passing marks as specified below:
- 25% marks in each subject.
- 40% marks in aggregate of all the subjects.
Note: There is no minimum passing marks for SC / ST category candidates.
Sainik School Result 2021
NTA declares AISSEE result 2021 online at its official website. Furthermore, the students will also be informed about the declaration of the result by SMS / email. NTA will declare AISSEE result in the form of merit list for Schoolwise and category-wise separately for boys and girls. The validity of the result of AISSEE 2021 will be for the current academic session only which means that the result for AISSEE cannot be carried forwarded for the next session.
Sainik School Answer Key 2021
After the entrance exam is over, NTA will release the scanned copy of OMR answer sheets and a provisional answer key. It is released online at aissee.nta.nic.in and can be used by the students to cross-check their answers and calculate their probable score. The calculation of marks is done by adding and deducting the marks as per the marking scheme.
If a student is not satisfied with the option marked in the answer key, they can submit an objection in AISSEE answer key by paying an amount of objection fee along with the necessary proof. Based on the objection submitted by the candidate, experts will review the objections and releases a final answer key.

Sainik School reserves the following number of seats for the category as mentioned below:

Sainik School Admit Card 2021
Those who successfully register for the entrance exam are issued AISSEE admit card 2021 which can be downloaded from the official website. To download it, students will need to log in by entering details like their application number and password generated during registration. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry a hard copy of the AISSEE admit card and other necessary documents like photo id proof, one passport size photo, etc.
Sainik School Admission Exam Pattern 2021

Mode of the exam – The entrance exam is conducted in pen-paper mode.
Type of questions – The test consists of multiple choice questions (MCQs).
Duration of the exam – The exam for class Vi is of 150 minutes whereas that of class IX is of 180 minutes.
Negative marking – There is no negative mark for incorrect answer.

Sainik School 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Students applying for the Sainik school entrance exam must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria as provided below –
For admission in Class VI
- A candidate should be between 10 to 12 years as on March 31, 2021, i.e. should have been born between 01 April 2009 and 31 March 2011.
- The admission is open for girls candidate as well (same age criteria as boys).
For admission in Class IX
- A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on March 31, 2021.
- Admission in class IX is not open for girls. This means that the admission is open for boys only.
- Student should have passed Class VIII exam from a recognized school at the time of admission.
Sainik School Application Form 2021
AISSEE admission form 2021 was made available by online mode only. To apply, students had to fill in their personal details, educational details, upload scanned copy of necessary documents, etc. To submit the form, students had to pay the necessary amount of application fee. To apply for AISSEE 2021, you may check the instructions as below:
- Register online from the link provided on this page and then enter details like your name, mobile number, email id, etc.
- Once the registration part is done, candidates will move forward to fill in necessary details in AISSEE application form.
- Select the choice of Sainik school, exam center, and will need to upload the scanned image of documents like candidate’s photo, signature, etc.
- Lastly, students need to pay the required amount of application fee.
