How is PSEB 12th Result 2020 Prepared?
Punjab School Education Minister, Mr. Vijay Inder Singla confirmed that class 12th, open school, and several other categories including re-appear exams have been cancelled this year. Hence, the result for the cancelled papers will be prepared based on the ‘best performing subjects’ formula.
For example, if a student has appeared in only 3 subjects, then, the average of higher marks obtained in two subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations could not be conducted.
Furthermore, marks in practical and subjects and on-the-job training for vocational subjects shall also be used for preparation of PSEB 12th result 2020.
PSEB result 2020 for Open school – For the open school students, it has been decided that the results will be declared based on “credit carry formula” and will be awarded average marks on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the subjects that they have passed in the earlier.
