About PSEB 10th Result 2018
On May 09, 2018 PSEB board has released the result of the main examinations. The students of class 10th from Punjab board has passed the examinations with the flying colors. This year total 3,68,295 students have appeared for the examinations. This number includes the number of students in the regular category as well as an open category. Out of the total candidates total, 2,19,034 have cleared the examination. This year total overall passing percentage of the students is 59.47%. This year there is an increment in the percentage from the last year. Last year the students from the Punjab board has secured the passing percentage 57.50%. There is not only increment in the passing percentage but there is also increment in the number of the students appeared for the examinations.
The Punjab board has conducted the main examinations in the month of March i.e from 12 to 31, 2018. After that, the board has released the result not only for class 10th as well as for class 12th. The students of class 12th have received their result in the month of the April. Now, here we have the names of the toppers also of class 10th. Gurpreet Kaur of Ludhiana topped the examination with the first position secured total 98% marks while Jasmeen Kaur of Kapurtahala secured the second position with 97.85% marks and Puneet Kaur of Fatehgarh have secured total 97.69%.
