National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has postponed all its ongoing examination of class 10th and 12th for another three weeks. Earlier, NIOS postponed the exams scheduled to be held from March 19 to 31, 2020 for both theory and practical. The revised dates will be announed later by NIOS at nios.ac.in.
NIOS Official Notice for Postponing Class 10th, 12th Exams 2020
NIOS has released an official notice in which it has stated that exams stands postponed for another three (03) weeks. Earlier, NIOS put on hold practical exams which were scheduled to be held between March 19 to 31 and theory exams which were going to be conducted from March 24 to 31, 2020. The schedule for examinations of overseas centres has already been postponed and the revised dates will be intimated lated after re-assessment of the situation.

However, with the recent announcement made by Prime Minister Narendara Modi that the whole country will be in a lockdown for 21 days, i.e, till April 14, 2020, hence, it is expected that the exams shall not be conducted anytime sooner. It is however advised to the students to keep visiting the official website for more updates on this.
Other Board Exams Postponed Due to Coronavirus
Due to the rising cases of coronavirus in the Country, many board exams, national level entrance exams, recruitment exams, have been postponed till March 31st. Many states like Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, West Bengal and more have postponed their ongoing exams till further notice. Revised date will be announced after re-assessment of the situation.

CBSE was the first board which postponed class 10th and 12th exams. After this, followed, CISCE and NIOS. Soon after, many other state boards put a hold on their exams. States like Uttar Pradesh, Puducherry and Maharashtra, have further cancelled class 1-8th exams and these students are going to be promoted to next standard without any exam.
