Eligibility Criteria for the Secondary Courses
Students who want to take admission in the Secondary Courses need to pass certain criteria given below:
- A learner who has passed class 8th and has a valid proof of attending the 14 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course.
- If a learner who gives a self-certificate of “I have studied and able to pursue the secondary course” are also eligible to apply.
- The learner who had studied the Secondary course can also apply for admission in NIOS for completing the course or Improving the course of before.
- Students need to show any document for carrying the residential proof of his/her.
- There is no age limit to apply just candidate need to be minimum 14 years old.
Admission in the NIOS Secondary Course
Online Admission procedure for students who want to appear in October 2019 examinations can follow the procedure is very easy. Students who appeared but could not clear the examination. Or the one who were eligible but could not appear in the public examination of Secondary examination can apply. You need to be eligible according to the above given criteria and if you are eligible you can go through the procedure as mentioned.
The learners have to submit the Marksheet/Admit Card of the failed examination along with the other documents. If you have applied for the Transfer of Credits(TOC) you have to send your failed marksheet to the NIOS Regional center.
