Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) is the state board responsible for conducting the examinations both for class 10th and 12th. The board was developed on November 15, 1973. At the same time, it starts its functioning from October 01, 1974 and in March 1975 the board has started its first high school leaving certificate (HSLC) examinations.
