Students need to plan their time well and make some managed study strategies to score well. Here, in this session, we have discussed some of the preparation tips which you can follow to prepare well for exams:
List of Topics: Since you have a vast syllabus to cover for exams, so make a list of the topics of each subject. Also, write down the number of days you have until the commencement of exams. Once you are done with the topic list, mark the important ones.
Time Management: Once you are done with the list of topics, divide your time equally to each topic of the subject. It is important to give time to each topic and subject so that you are done with the whole syllabus until the starting of the exam.
Visual Aids: Start making notes for each topic visually. Studies have shown that students using visual aids to study prepare better than bookworms. Visual aids may include flow charts, diagrams. bullets, keywords, etc. This will help you in remembering and revising things at a later stage.
Sample Papers: Keep the sample papers along with you. Start solving them once you do a specific topic or chapter. You can also solve the previous year question papers to know the exam pattern and the types of questions which come in the exam.
Revise: Make it a habit of revising everything you have done at night. This will build confidence in you regarding what you have learnt. Also, make sure that you keep the last day of preparation holidays as a revision day. Do not learn anything new on that day. It might result in forgetting what you are sure about even.
