MP Board 10th Supplementary Result 2018 Statistics
The regular result for this session was announced on May 14, 2018, at 11:15 AM. Total 11,48,000 candidates appeared for the exams. Out of the total appeared students, around 66% were passed. Coming to the performance of the boys and girls, around 69% of the girls cleared it against 64% of the boys.
Comparing the last year’s pass percentage, this year, 16% more students were declared successful in the Class 10 exams as compared to last year when 49.9% of them cleared it.
About MP Board
MP Board came into existence in the year 1965. The full name of the board is MP Board of Secondary Education which is popularly known as MPBSE. The board was established to conduct the affairs of regulation of secondary education in the state. MPBSE got the regular authority through the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Act, 1965.
Talking about the very first examination conducted by the board, MPBSE managed to conduct the first exam in the year 1959-60. In the first exams conducted by the board, around 80,000 students took part. Over the years, the authorities managed to increase the number of participants by doing some extra efforts and devoting the time and money to the board. In the latest survey, it came to know that the total number of students who enrolled in the examinations was approximately 10 lakh. The MP Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is not merely an exam conducting body but it also regulates the education policies in the affiliated schools.
