Meghna Srivastava Becomes CBSE 2018 Class 12 Topper with 499/500 Marks

All India Topper of CBSE Class 12 Results in the year 2018 is Meghna Srivastava. She has scored 499 marks out of 500, amounting to 99.8%. She scored 99 in English, 100 in History, 100 in Geography, 100 in Psychology, and 100 in Economics. Meghna Srivastava was a student of Humanities. CBSE 12^th Result 2018 was announced on Saturday at 12:20 PM.

Meghna Srivastava studied at Step by Step School in Noida. Her school is located in Sector 132, Taj Expressway Ghaziabad. Her marks are even higher than last year’s topper Raksha Goel, who had obtained 498 out of 500 in her CBSE Class 12 Results.

With just one mark short of the perfect score, Meghna Srivastava from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has topped CBSE Class 12 all over India. Close behind at All India Rank 2 is Anoushka Chandra, from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh with 498 marks out of 500. She is also from humanities. Anoushka scored 98 in English and 100 in History, Political Science, Economics, Psychology.

Overall seven students have scored 497 marks in CBSE Class 12 Results, tying them for the third spot. Third rankers are one each from Jaipur, Ludhiana, Haridwar, Noida, Meerut, and two are from Ghaziabad. Uttar Pradesh has recorded 5 out of 9 in top three positions.

The CBSE board has recorded a higher pass percentage than last time. CBSE Pass percentage 2018 is 83.01%. Girls have outshined boys once again with 88.31% with boys close behind at 78.99%. Out of all the regions, Trivandrum fares best with 97.32% pass percentage and Chennai comes second with 93.87%. Delhi comes at third spot with 89% passing.

CBSE Class 12 Results were announced on May 26 and can be checked through cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in, results.nic.in. students can also access their results via NIC IVRS. For Delhi students, IVRS is 24300699, whereas from those outside Delhi need to dial 011-24300699. They can also use Uman app or send SMS to 7738299899 as cbse12 <roll no> <sch no> <center no>.
