Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) is the state academic board for all the registered students. MBOSE conducts the board examinations of class 10th and 12th students at the state level. However, the board conducts the examinations annually. Every year lakhs of students have registered themselves under the state board. Meghalaya Board also referred as MBOSE. The Board has developed as per the Meghalaya Board School Education Act, 1973. The board holds the responsibility to regulate and control the school education system at the SSC and HSSLC level. It has a regional office located at the state capital Shillong. Firstly, the board has developed with the aim of providing education at the SSLC level. After this, the board has extended to Higher Secondary Level. There are total 1400 affiliated schools spread across the state of Meghalaya. This all about how MBOSE has evolved and what are the responsibilities of the board.

Time Table or routine of the examination is the first step of the examination process. So, Meghalaya board releases the SSLC (class 10th ) and HSSLC (class 12th) routine officially on its website. The board conducts the examinations in the month of March. But before that, the board has made the availability of the time table by the month of December. Carrying the admit card on the day of examination is a mandatory document to be carried on the day of examination. In the absence of it, students might not be allowed to appear for the examinations. Meghalaya Board admit card is provided to the students who are successfully registered for the examinations. The desired admit card consists of the dates of the examinations, exam centre details, your photograph, signature, and important instructions.
