Statistics Related to Manipur HSLC Compartment Result 2018

Thia year, around 37,064 total students enrolled in the examinations. Out of the total appeared students, a total of 27,126 students cleared it. So, it can be seen that the total pass percentage for the current year was 73.18%.

The result was declared for two kinds of the students i.e. regular and external. Considering the total pass students in these categories, among the regular candidates 78.85% boys and 74.70% girls qualified for the exams. Talking about the external candidates, then 34.52% boys and 39.13% girls were passed in the examinations.

Coming to the names of the toppers, Yaiphabi Mayengbam got the first place in the state by obtaining 95.5%. The candidate is from Imphal. The second position grabbed by Surajkanta Irengbam. She is also from Imphal. She obtained 95.33% marks. The place was shared by Patel Lairenjam because he also got the same marks. Two students named as Brahmacharimayum Balkrishna Sharma and Angela Athokpam got the third position by pertaining 95%.

About Manipur Board

The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur was established under an Act in 1972 by Manipur Legislative Assembly. Manipur Board is well known as BSEM. From the day when the board came into existence, the board has been managing such responsibilities as curriculum or the designing of the syllabus, providing the school examinations and making textbooks available for all standards between Class I to Class X. The board revised the syllabus in the year 2009. BSEM is conducting the exams for HSLC till the time of its origin. Also, the scheme for assigning 20% of the total marks for each subject to internal assessment and adding these internal scores to the total marks is followed by BSEM since 2011.
