Maharashtra State Board of Open Schooling (MSBOS) conducts the public examination twice a year. This gives an opportunity to students who didn’t score well in this session. They can reappear in the session of April-May next year. For this, they have to just pay for the examination fee of the particular subjects they want to reappear. How to check the Maharashtra State Open Schooling 12th Result October 2019

Credit Accumulation of the Maharashtra State Open Schooling
Students who are not aware of the credit system of the Maharashtra State Open Schooling. Here we have all the information you need to know:
- Students of Maharashtra State Open Schooling have Nine Chances for completing all the subjects under five years of registration. They will keep a record of your credits.
- If a Sr. Secondary students have failed in the Theory examination and passed in the Practical examination. His credits for the Practical examination will be retained and he or she has to appear for the Theory examination only.
- If students also appear in the passed exam as well in between theory and practical then the best of both results will be used in the examination.
- Likewise, the pass credit of passing in the practical and falling in the theory is there. Students need to pay the examination fee for both Theory and Practical. It doesnt matter if you have any intention to appear in the passed examination
- Students need to have a gap of two years in between the passing of the secondary examination and Sr. Secondary.
- If any student will apply for the Sr.Secondary examination without the completion of the gap year. So, he is going to get admission in four subjects only.
Improvement of Performance in the Maharashtra State Open Schooling
Students who had already passed the examination can apply again for improvement of the performance but only once. You have to go through the same procedure for appearing for the first chance examination and pay the fee. Subjects that involve practicals you need to appear for both theory and practical. There is going to be a comparison and the best out of both is going to be available in the mark sheet.
Issue of Marks and Certification of the Maharashtra State Open Schooling
Students are going to achieve a mark-sheet on a declaration of result from their AI. Provisional and migration certificate is going to be only for those students who are successfully done with their session. For passing certificates students has to wait six months after the release of the result. If students have additional subject or improvement of performance in more than one subject they will be issued a mark sheet only. No migration certificate is going to issue until the students are done with their respective courses.
Pass and Certification Criteria
There’s a criterion in MSOS for passing and getting a certificate as well. MSOS give students the chance to improve themselves by taking two subjects only so they can prepare it and appear on it. This will help in building confidence and students can take more subjects in the next examination. After the completion of the needed subjects, students will get their certification. For passing in the Maharashtra State Open Schooling students need to have at least 33% aggregate marks in both Practical and Theory examination for certificate availing you need to pass in the five subjects including one language or not more than two.

Maharashtra State Open Schooling established by the MHRD for Open Schooling for the group of people who can’t enroll themselves in a formal education system. It was established in February 2017 with an idea of providing an open basic education(OBE) system for 14+ students. A learner of MSOS is extended to have nine chances to complete the course in five years. MSOS gives flexibility in choosing the subjects and courses. Candidates dont have any pressure of appearing in all subjects in the same year as well. MSOS has a procedure of keeping your score until you pass all the public examination.
