About Maharashtra HSC Result 2018
The Maharashtra board has released the 12th class result by the end of May 2018. 88.41% is the total passing percentage of the students who have appeared for the 12th class examinations. Lakhs of students have appeared for the examinations. Where more than 5,486 students have scored more than 90% in the exam. The highest percentage is scored by the students of science stream with 95.85%, while in commerce stream 89.50% and in arts stream 78.96%. Though the overall passing percentage of the students is less as compared to last year.
After the result declaration online the board has also distributed the marksheets in the respective schools by June 12, 2018. Maharashtra HSC examinations conducted in the nine regions- Konkan, Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Amaravati, Kolhapur, Latur, and Nashik. The board has conducted the main examinations in the month of February followed by the declaration of the result in the month of May. The result of the main examinations also listed out those who have to appear for the supplementary examinations. The supplementary exams is another opportunity for the students who have not succeed in the main examinations. The board conducts the supplementary exams in the month of July. About Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Senior Secondary Education
Maharashtra State board of secondary and senior secondary education also referred as MSBSE. The board has come into an existence in the year 1965. MSBSE conducts the examinations at the secondary level as well as at the senior secondary level. Around 14 lakh students have appeared for the HSC examinations while 17 lakh students have appeared for the SSC examinations annually at the state level. Now, if we talk about the number of students for supplementary examinations then around 6 lakh students both od HSC and SSC level have applied altogether expectedly. At the state level, there are a total of 21000 SSC schools and 7000 HSC schools.
