Big Update: Bombay High court has quashed the request of the Maharashtra government to conduct the FYJC CET 2021. Thus, CET as suggested by the state government will not be conducted now.
Maharashtra FYJC 2021
This year, a total of 3,75,351 students had registered for Maharashtra FYJC admission 2021. Out of these many students registered, 3,75,351 students had registered for Maharashtra FYJC admission 2021. For admission in class 11, there will be four rounds of Centralised Online admission. Candidates who could not apply for FYJC first-round admission can submit their fresh application for the other three consecutive rounds.
After the application is submitted, the School Education Department, Maharashtra releases the first merit list for first-year junior college (FYJC) admissions. It is released online on its official website. Selected students who are satisfied with their allotment can then confirm the seat and complete the further admission process by August 30.

Maharashtra Board 11th Online Admission Process 2021
Aspirants who want to get admission need to fill ‘Form 1‘ of FYJC admissions 2021. In this, they need to enter their personal information, contact details, etc. After the Maharashtra SSC result 2021 is announced, students have to fill ‘Form 2‘ of FYJC admission in which they need to specify the course choice, college preferences, and other subject-related choices. It is to be noted that admission to various streams (Arts/ Science/ Commerce) to class 11th or FYJC is done by online mode only.
However, there are a few streams in which you can apply for admission in junior colleges in Maharashtra in offline mode. These are –

Maharashtra FYJC Admission Process 2021
There will be no entrance test or interview for junior college admission this year. Admissions will be done on the basis of students performance in the class X result. After the declaration of result for the SSC exam, the conducting authority releases a merit list online. Candidates whose name is included in the merit list can complete the further admission formalities to secure admission to the allotted college. However, students whose name was not included in the first general merit list have to exercise options for further rounds.
FYJC 11th Admissions 2021 Merit list and Cut-off Merit list
On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the SSC examination, SESD will prepare and release the merit list and cut off list. It is released separately for every school. After each round of admission is over, a college-wise cut off list is released on the official website of SESD class 11th admission. After the allotment list is released, the candidates who are satisfied with the allotted college will need to complete the further admission formailities, which include, document verification. The list of documents as required by the candidates for FYJC admission is as follows.
- Filled-in FYJC Online Admission Application Form 2021.
- 3 window envelopes with postal stamps (Rs.30/-) affixed on it.
- Qualifying Exams Mark Memo/ mark sheet of SSC (class X) or equivalent
- SSC School Leaving Certificate in original.
- Proof of local address for correspondence.
- 1 recent passport size Photograph.
- Category certificate (if applicable).
