About Samastha Kerala Board
Samastha Kerala Board is the largest Muslim organization providing the state education. It formed on June 26, 1926, but it officially registered on November 14, 1934. The objective of the organization is to implement the propagation of true Islam, religious education and activities against the superstitions and un-Islamic tradition in the students of Kerala. Samastha Kerala Islam Matha Vidhyabhyasa Board (SKIMVB) was the first sub-organization of Samastha. The main objective of setting up madrassas across the state was made systematic through the preparation of syllabus for students up to class 12. The board called applications for Madrassa recognition in the year 1952 and recognized 10 madrassas that year.
