Karnataka Pre-University Examination Board finally released an official notice confirming that 2nd PUC exam scheduled on March 23, 2020 has been postponed due to corona virus. Earlier, there were reports that Karnataka 2nd PUC exams 2020 will be conducted as per the schedule, however, now as per meeting with the Chief Minister of Karnataka, B S Yediyurappa, it has been decided to postpone the exam.

Karnataka SSLC Exams 2020 Postponed
Earlier Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) released a notice in which it stated that Karnataka SSLC exams 2020 will be held as per the schedule and will be not be postponed. Necessary precautions would have been taken like provided masks and sanitizers. However, with the rising cases due to corona virus and as a precautionary measure against it, the Board and state govt. decided to postpone the upcoming SSLC exams till further notice.
Karnataka SSLC 2020 exams were scheduled to start from March 27, 2020 onwards and were supposed to end on April 09, 2020. As per the newspaper reports, as many as 8 lakh students have registered for SSLC exams. The revised date sheet will be out in the month of April after re-assessment of the situation.

Is Karnataka 2nd PUC 2020 English Exam Postponed?
Considering the rising concerns of the students and parents due to coronavirus spread, Karnataka Pre-University Examination Board has decided to postpone the 2nd PUC 2020 exam. The official annoucnement released on March 22, 2020 in the evening at pue.kar.nic.in. This decision has been taken after due deliberation as the state prepared for lockdown because of corona virus outbreak.
The only exam left for 2nd PUC Karanataka is of English subject which was scheduled to be held on March 23.
Students should consider these days as their study leave.

Major education board like CBSE, CISCE, etc postponed their class 10th and 12th board exams already. Almost states all over India have postponed all exams till March 31 and are expected to resume once the situation gets better.

It is expected that the exams shall be held in April end or mid May. However, the revised dates will be released after 14 Apr after re-assessment of the current situation due to COVID-19.
