This year, about a total of 6,90,150 students registered for 2nd PUC exams from Karnataka board. They did the registration from across 4,725 colleges affiliated with the board. The exams were conducted from March 01, 2018 to March 17, 2018.

If we talk about the last year statistics then around 6,84,472 students appeared for the examination of 2nd PUC from Karnataka board. In which around 3,48, 563 students belong to the boys category whereas 3,35,909 students fall into the girls category. Every year around 10 lakh students has registered themselves for Karnataka 2nd PUC examination.
This year, the number of students who appeared for the exams are slightly more than last year. Around 6,90,150 students enrolled in the exam and 4,08,421 have passed the exams.
About Pre University Examination Board
The Pre University Examination Board is a state level board. The board is responsible for conducting exam at the higher secondary level only. Karnataka 2nd PUC examination was conducted by the board in the month of February. The board also holds the responsibility for the declaration of the result of the main examination as well as the supplementary result at the state level. Under the Pre- University curriculum there are 23 subjects, 11 languages and 50 combinations. The courses offered by them are Humanities(Arts), Science & Commerce.
