The reason behind the date being probable date for result of SSC exams is that last year, JKBOSE class 12^th result was announced on May 3, and JKBOSE class 10^th result was announced on May 6. With this trend in mind, we can not assure any date as the result date till now.

Students may further note that JKBOSE does not officially announce result date before publishing results. The board did not announce any relevant date before making the class 12^th result public too. Thus class 10^th students will also have to endure a tensed wait until result is actually announced.

Despite the fact that April 30, 2018 was lauded as the most probable date for result, chances do remain for the date being another one; it is after all the final decision of the board to decide when it will announce the result.
