About Jammu Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE)
JKBOSE ( Jammu Kashmir Board of Secondary Education) is the state academic board responsibile for conducting the exams annually. JKBOSE conducts the exams both for the Jammu division as well as the Kashmir division. It is a state level board established with the aim of providing the basic acdemic knowledge to the registered students. Board holds the responsibility for issuing the textbooks and the syllabus to the students. JKBOSE class 10th, 11th and 12th exams conducted twice a year in the session of the summer zone or the winter zone. The board has developed under the state education act 1975. JKBOSE also provides the open distance learning (ODL) to the students who have missed the formal education.
