Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education is the main board of school education which was formed on August 28, 1975. It is popularly known as JKBOSE. The board is responsible for conducting class 10th, 11th and 12th annual exams all over the state. The exams take place in two divisions: Jammu and Kashmir division. Jammu division takes place in two zones (summer and winter). Kashmir division also takes place in two sessions (annual and bi-annual).
