Previous Year Stats of JKBOSE 10th Annual Result

Here, in this session, we have discussed the previous year stats of the class 10th annual result. From this, the students can get an estimate idea of the competition going on now a days. In 2019, Jammu and Kashmir board conducted class 10th annual exams from October 24 to November 14. After the completion of exams, the board came up with the result for the same on January 03. A total of 55,472 students appeared in the exam. Out of these students, 38,939 students cleared the exam. The overall pass percentage was calculated to be 75.44%. The pass percentage for boys and girls was 76.41% and 74.40% respectively. Talking about the district toppers, Pulwama district topped the class 10th exam with 84.5% followed by Shopian with 83%.

After the declaration of the main exam result, some students are not satisfied with the marks they have scored. Such students can apply for the process of revaluation. Revaluation refers to the process of checking the answer script again to ensure that no question is left unchecked. To apply for this process, the students have to fill the application form which releases online. Along with the form, the students have to pay an amount of application fee as well. Jammu And Kashmir State Board of School Education

The Jammu And Kashmir State Board of School Education came into existence under the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education Act, 1975. It is popularly known as JKBOSE. The Jammu and Kasmir board was formed with an aim of providing secondary and higher secondary education education to all the students in the state. Not only this, it also prescribes syllabus, curriculum and textbooks for the school education. The exams for class 10th and 12th takes place in two zones. One is summer zone and the other is winter zone.
