Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) Board is going to declare JAC Result 2020 for Class 9th. As per various newspaper reports and sources, the result is likely to be announced today at 4:00 PM. About 4.2 lakh students are awaiting their 9th class result. It will be declared online at jac.jharkhand.gov.in under the login. Hence, it is advised to the students to keep their roll code and roll number ready to check the result.
JAC 9th class exam was conducted on January 21 and 22, 2020. Last year, about 4,00,876 students appeared for 9th class exam, which is comparitively less than this year. From these many students, 3,58,442 manages to qualify the exam.
Result to Declare Earlier this Year
Last year, JAC 9th class result were declared on April 11. However, this year, the result is being announced a month before. This early declaration of result will prove to be a major boon for the students who have appeared for the January Exam and have been eagerly awaiting their results since then.

What are JAC 9th Passing Criteria?
To be eligible to be promoted to the next standard, students need to secure minimum qualifying marks. To get promoted to Class 10th, students should pass in at least 4 out of 5 subjects. Furthermore, in case if a student is failing in any subject with some marks, the Board passess them with grace marks.
JAC 9th Class Previous Year Result Statistics
Out of a total of 4,00,876 appeared students, 3,58,442 passed the exam. The overall pass percentage stood at 89.4%. Further, a total of 11 districts out of 24 managed to cross 90%. The top 3 districts were Koderma district with 95.1%, Ranchi district with 93.96% and Hazaribad district with 93.57%.

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) was established by the Jharkhand State Legislature and assented to by honourable Governor of the State. It was established on November 15, 2000. The council is responsible for conducting various exams like intermediate, secondary, madhyama and madarsa exams. The exams for secondary and academic standards are conducted in the month of March and the result is declared in the month of May 2020.
