ISC Class 12 Biology Answer Key 2021-22
The CISCE board has come to the decision to divide the ISC Class 12 educational program into two semesters – Semester 1 and Semester 2. This is done to decrease the weight of preparation on candidates and educators to finish the entire schedule on time.
The Semester 1 exams will begin from November 15th 2021 and will be of a MCQ format in which students will have to solve questions under 90 minutes. The Semester 2 exams will be held in March/April 2022 tentatively. This will be a theory based assessment and students will be given 120 minutes to complete it.

ISC Class 12 Biology Examination pattern
CISCE has assigned Biology under Group 2 of subjects. For Group 2 subjects, a 100 marks evaluation is done where these 100 marks are divided into theoretical assessment and practical assessment. Theoretical assessment are assigned 70 marks and practical assessment are assigned 30 marks.
The theoretical assessment is further divided into Semester 1 and Semester 2 with each carrying a 35 marks weightage.
The practical assessment will be done by school authorities and marks out of 30 would be given.
ISC Class 12 Biology Semester 1 Examination pattern
The Semester 1 examinations will be a MCQ based question paper. The total weightage of this examination is 35 marks and students will have to conclude solving within 90 minutes of time.
The examination will start at 2:00 PM and will end at 3:30 PM with 10 minutes provided for reading at 1:50 PM.
The questions are mainly based on the entire knowledge gained by students in their Semester 1 studies. Students need to improve their problem solving speed in order to complete the examination in the given time slot.
