Council For The Indian Certificate Examination (CISCE) conducted the ISC Economics Paper 2020 on February 17. After the completion of exam, there were mix reactions from students and parents. According to some students paper was good and scoring as well . While some said that the paper was lengthy and a bit difficult. Parents and teachers are expecting that their students will scored good marks this year.
Student’s Reaction After Economics Paper
#Anushka and Tarangini from Commerce stream said that the paper was good and we managed to finish it on time. To this Swati Sharma, another Commerce student added that the numericals were also direct.
#In a conversation with Mashfia Khan, she said that the paper was quite good. Since she is not going to count this subject in her best 4 so she was not concentrating in it much. Also, she is expecting to score 50-55 out of 80.
#Fiza Tanveer from Arts stream said that the paper was quite tough. But all the questions were from the syllabus only and she is expecting to score more than 70 marks.
#Annamada and Ibida Iqbal said that the paper was very difficult as well as lengthy. They attempted the exam of 80 marks. Also, there is no pressure from their family members to score 100 percent marks in the exam.
Parent’s and Teacher’s Reaction
#Meenakshi Bajaj, Economics teacher, said that the the paper was quite good. Some questions were tricky and some were very easy.
#Swarlata, a subject expert, said that the paper effectively covered all the aspects of the syllabus and can be considered best to analyse the future potential of the students.
#Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal, parent of Wajisa Jaiswal, says that his child is good in studies and we are putting no pressure on her. Also, he said that the students should not take tension and should appear in the exam with free mind.
#Simran Khan, sister of a student, said that she keeps on studying the entire day as it is the board exams. There is no such pressure on her but yes we are expecting that she will score good marks.
Vineeta Kamran, Principal of CMS Kanpur, saysthat the school is having high hopes from the students and expect a good result.
ISC Class 12 Economics Exam Pattern 2020
Economics paper carries a weightage of 80 marks. There were two sections in the paper. One is Section A and the other is Section B. Section A consist of 4 questions with 5 sub- questions each. Each question carries a weightage of 10 marks. Whereas section B consist of 6 questions with 2 sub-questions in each. Out of these 6 questions, the students have to answer any four questions. Apart from this, the students had an additional 15 minutes to read the question paper thoroughly.
ISC Result 2020 will be available by the month of May expectedly. Last year CISCE ISC result was out on May 07.
