Himachal Pradesh board has released the date sheet for class 8th, 9th and 12th in the pdf format. The exam timings for class 5th, 8th and 9th is from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm. During the exam, the students need to make sure that they write the same question for the answer as that written on the question paper. Please note that no student is allowed to bring the calculator, cellular phones or any other electronic gadgets to the exam centre. Preparation is the key to success during exams. Here, in this session, we have discussed some of the preparation tips which the students can follow to prepare for the exams.
Time Management: It is important for the students to manage their time well during the exams. Firstly, calculate the hours you are going to devote in studies. After this, divide those hours equally among any 2 subjects. Do not cover more than 2 subjects. You might get confuse this way.
Visual Aids: Keep on making notes while studying. Try to make notes in the form of visual aids such as flow charts, diagrams, bullets, keywords etc. This will help you remember things for a longer duration of time. Also, it will help you in easy revision.
Sample Papers: After completing the entire syllabus, the students can start solving the sample papers. Solve as many as you can. Also, the students can go for previous year question paper. It will help you know the exam pattern and the type of questions which come in the exam.
Teach Someone: Make someone sit in front of you. Now, pick a random topic and start explaining it to the other person. This will help you build confidence regarding your preparation. Also, you will come to know where you still need to work.
Revision: The students should try to complete their syllabus at least 2 days before the exam. Keep your last days for revision. Do not learn anything new on these days. You might forget what you have already learnt.
