Himachal Pradesh board conducted the class 10 main examination from March 07 to 20, 2019. A total of 1,11,980 candidates appeared for class 10 examinations this year. However, the overall pass percentage was calculated to be 60.79%. Atharv Thakur has topped the class 10 by scoring 98.71%. The board conducted the class 10 examinations in 1980 centres. Around 10,000 employees were engaged in examination duties. After the declaration of result, the qualified candidates moved on to the next level of education i.e class 11. While the candidates who were not able to qualify the exam had appeared for the compartment examinations held by the first week of June.
