HPBOSE conducts the examinations twice a year. One in the month of March and the other in the month of September. Students must appear for the exam as per the schedule along with the necessary items. The board will conduct the practical exam for SOS 12th class for only those candidates who have been declared fail or remained absent in the previous practical exam of the subjects (except for NSQF). Students can check the practical exam date sheet from the table below:

Important Instructions for HP SOS 12th Exam 2020
Candidates appearing for the HP SOS 12th September exam, can take a look at the important instructions as below –
- The question papers for the subjects – English, Maths, Hindi, Economics, Political Science, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accountancy, Business Studies, Sanskrit will be available in three series, i.e. A, B and C.
- You will need to write question number while attempting the question in the answer.
- The exam invigilator will distribute the question paper and answer book at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
- You are not allowed to carry calculator, watch with facilities of calculators, pagers, mobile phones & electronic gadget.
