How To Score Good Marks in Board Exams? This is one of the most common question of the students appearing for board exams. But just take two minutes and analyse yourself. Scoring good marks in any exam is not a magic its just a hard work you are doing before facing exams. Out of 100 around 95% students have examinophobia or we can say ‘Exam Fever’. As a result less focus on studying and more thinking. To score good marks in board exams just don’t think but also implement it. So, friends if you are also at the same phase then read this whole article and know how to cope up with the board exams.

As earlier I said, just analyse yourself. Do you? Analyse how much you have prepared for the exams. From where you have to start. Or at which part you are weak and what is your straong part. After this, authomatically you get all your answers of the questions hitting your head just few minutes before. Now, to give a start to score good marks in board exams here we are with some simple tips.

Check Syllabus: Before you start preparing for the exams, make sure that you know your entire syllabus. Also, the students should be aware of the weightage that each chapter carries. Once you know it, make a list from most important to least important. Now, study accordingly.

Eat The Frog First: More time is consumed in covering the difficult topics. Therefore the students should start with the difficult topics first and then go for the easy topics. This way you will be able to complete your entire syllabus.

Do Not Copy Others: Do not compare yourself to other students. Make your own study schedules. Do not copy the toppers. Please note that you can take guidance from them. Revise what you have studied in the school at the end of the day.

Make Your Own Notes: Don’t be a bookworm. Start making your notes while studying. Studies have shown that the students remember things better when they learn it theoretically. Make notes in the form of flow charts, diagrams, bullets, keywords. This will help you remember things for a longer duration.

Stay Away From Distractions: Social medias and technology are a big distraction for the students now a days. Keep the distractions away. While studying, avoid using your mobile phones. You can either switch them off or keep it inside your almirah or drawer.

Previous Year papers: The students should try to complete the syllabus at least some days before the exam. During these days, start solving the previous year question papers. This will help you know the exam pattern and the type of questions that come in exam. You can also solve the sample papers.

Review: It is important for the students to revise everything before the examination. Keep your last days for revision. Revise as many times as you. This will help you build confidence in your regarding your preparation.

Read The Question Thoroughly: The very first step is to read the question thoroughly. Now, think of what are you going to write in the answer. Make a rough flow of the answer in your mind. Some students start writing without thinking and they end up writing a wrong answer. So, you should know what is asked in the question exactly.

Divide Your Answer: Writing big paragraphs won’t make you score good marks. The students should always try to answer a question in three sections. The first is introductory, second is main body and third is conclusion. Please make sure that this division will be valid only in case of the long questions. For short questions, the students need to write it in a prescrised manner.

Content: Many students have a habit of writing the same thing repeatedly in the answer. Or some students write the extra information which is not even required. This is actually wrong. The students should only write what is asked. Writing extra information won’t make you score good marks.

Authentic Information: While writing answers, make sure that you are writing the authentic information. Irrelevant information will result in the decrease of your number. For example, if you are having a doubt in the years, then it is better that you don’t write anything rather than writing a wrong answer.

Diagrams: In the board exams, each and every ansswer consists of the step marking. So, here if you present your answer with its relevant diagram or figure then it will be beneficial to get the marks more than others.

How To Memorise Topics For Long

While preparaing for the board exams, we all face a verycommon problem i.e we tend to foregt the things we have studied. It does’nt mean that you have not study properly or you are not attentive. The main reason of it is that we have studied for the first time and during this period we have studied lot of stuff from different sources of different subjects. Thus, its obvious that you might confused with the topics. So, let’s check what would be soultion of this.

Repeating What You Have Studied: What do students do? They learn a topic once and then revise it at the time of exam. This is wrong. Keep on reviewing the study material again and again. Make some flashcards and paste it on your study table. So that you will revise it everytime you will sit on your study table.

Break Your Limits: Forget the limits and overcome your fear of board exams. While studying, stay in confidence that you can do it and you will do it.

Understand Things Logically: Students have a habit of doijg rote learning. This was you will never remember things for a longer duration of time. Go for logic learning. Logic learning not only help you understand topic but also help in remembering it for a longer duration of time.

Identify Important Parts: Everything written in the book is not compulsory from the examination point of view. Firstly, identify the important part of a particular topic which will help you score marks in the exam. Keep on revising it continously until you are done with your exam.

Meditate: Meditate to improve your concentration and memory part. Apart from this, it make us focus and clear. So, it is worth spending 15 minutes of your daily schedule in meditation. Except for meditation, it is important that the students take a proper sleep and excercise well during exams.

Ways To Deal Stress During Board Exams

Stress? Yes. When we are nervous with anything then we are in stress and its a human tendency. There is no control on it. But we can handle it. Yes, stress during the exams is common but a student, his teacher and his parents also take care of it.

  • The first rule is to avoid the stress is Don’t Pressurize. Just helps the students to enjoy while studying. Studies have shown that the students who are overstressed during the exam end up scoring less marks than your capabilities.
  • To compete with others is not bad. But first remember the first compettion you have is with yourself. So, prepare first as per your caliber.
  • Do not study continuously for hours and hours. Take short breaks.
  • Go for an evening walk or listen to music or play your favourite sport.
