GSEB HSC October 2017 Result – GSEB has announced HSC October 2017 result. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced the result for the class 12 board exams which was held in the month of October 2017. This HSC exam was held by GSEB in exam centres across the state of Gujrat. Students are expected to collect their results from their designated exam centres on given time. Students who have to re-appear for the exam will be required to fill the examination form for March 2018 the details for this registration will be mentioned on the official website of the board from December 9, 2017.

GSEB HSC 2017 Result

A total number of 1,11,203 students registered to appear in the GSEB Higher Secondary education exam. Out of which 1,04,560 were present for the examination and 16,291 were qualified the exam. A total percentage of 15.58% students have cleared this exam. 23.20% of students who qualified the exam belonged to the state of Tapi the. This was closely followed by Jamnagar at 21.13 % and Central Admn at 19.31%. The least number of passed candidates came from the city of Junagadh i.e. 10.16%.

Total Number of Qualified Male & Female Candidates

A total number of 79,531 male candidates appeared for the exam & 10,951 male candidates qualified the exam. On the contrary 25,029 female candidates appeared for the exam and 5,340 female candidates qualified the exam. The percentage of passed female candidates is 21.34% which is way more than the male counterparts which is 13.77%. This time 213 cases were recorded for misrepresentation. 619 students that appeared for the exam belonged to the specially abled category.

Subject wise Maximum Marks Scored in GSEB HSC

Students scored maximum marks in Hindi with a total percentile of 68.32. It was closely followed by sociology at 68.01 per cent and geography at 61.81 per cent.
