Goa Board Result 2022 – Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) is expected to declare the Goa Board SSC, HSC Result 2022 for the First Term examination in the 2nd week of February 2022. For the academic session, 2021-22 Goa Board will be conducting Board Exam in two terms. The first exam will consist of MCQ types of questions only. For student convenience, the board has also released a sample OMR sheet and the way to fill it. Similarly, the second term will be based on both Objective and Subjective types of questions. How to Check Goa Board Result 2022?
There are three methods through which students can see the Goa Board exam results 2022. Given are the step-wise instructions for every method. Follow any method to check your result.
From GBSHSE Website
1st Step: Go to the official website of GBSHSE at cgbse.nic.in.
2nd Step: In the header, click on the “Results 2022” option. You will be redirected to the result page.
3rd Step: On the result page, select your class (SSC or HSSC) result link.
4th Step: Now, enter Seat No., Birth Date, School Index, Student Name and fill the captcha. Then, click on the “Get Result” button.
5th Step: Your result will be displayed on your screen. Save or print your result for further reference.
DigiLocker is an online platform that keeps our issued documents from the government, council, education board, etc. Similarly, students can even get their mark sheets from the respective class or board. Follow the steps to get results through DigiLocker.
1st Step: First you need to create your DigiLocker account. Complete the verification process by providing personal details. Once the account is created Sign In to your account.
2nd Step: On the dashboard, under the Issued Documents tab, you can see the “GBSHSE X ” and “GBSHSE XII” Marksheet tab. Select any tab according to your class.
3rd Step: Now, enter details like your Name, Roll No., Year of examination. Then, click on the “Get Document”. Refer to the image below.
4th Step: Your mark sheet will be opened in a pdf format. Download a pdf and keep it safe for future reference.
Note: It is important to note here, the mark sheet on the DigiLocker will be uploaded after a few days of result declaration.
Students of HSSC (Class 12) can even get their Go Board exam results on their phones through SMS also. To get the result SMS, type GOA12<Space>Seat Number and send it to 56263/58888/5676750/54242.
How Goa Board Result 2022 is Calculated?
A Student will be overviewed in both the examinations. The final result will be prepared based on the performance in each term. For the First Term result, students will be awarded grades ranging from A to G. For the second term exam, the result will be prepared by combining the performance in practicals, projects, and theory exams. The final marks and grades can be calculated by taking an average of marks and grades scored in both term examinations.
Passing Criteria for Goa Board Exams 2022
To be declared as a Passed Student, a student must satisfy the criteria given below.
- Students must secure a minimum grade of H (between 33 to 40 marks)from the combined performance in the theory and practical examinations.
- A student who appeared in every subject’s examination and simultaneously passed will be considered a successful student.
- If any student fails to submit a project, assignments will be given a grade below H.

What after the GBSHSE Result 2022 Declaration?
Once the result is announced, and the students have checked their results. Then students have the following actions to perform.
Re-evaluation/Reassessment of Marks: If any student doubts their marks mentioned on the result. Then, they can apply for the re-evaluation/reassessment process. Students have to fill submit the application form to participate in the re-evaluation process. The complete step-wise details are given below.
Appear for Supplementary Examination: If any student failed in the main examination, then he/she can apply to appear in the supplementary examination. The application process will be held offline at the school level.
Appear in the Improvement Examination: In case if any student wishes to improve his or her marks then the improvement examination is the option for you. To appear in the improvement examination, students have to fill the application (provided by the school) under the school guidelines. Students can appear in one or more subjects in the improvement examination.
Once the students get their final mark sheet, they can apply for further studies in schools, colleges, or universities according to your stream. The final mark sheet will be demanded in every admission process. If you have two mark sheets, then you have to show both mark sheets.
Goa Board Supplementary Examination 2022
For the students who failed in the Goa Board examination, the GBSHSE board will conduct the supplementary examination. To appear in the supplementary examination, students have to register themselves from their respective schools. Then, students have to appear in the examinations they applied for. After one month of the exam, the board will declare the result at results.gbshsegoa.net. Students can check their results by providing StudentName, Seat No., Date of Birth. Thereafter, students can collect their mark sheet from the center they appeared in the supplementary examination.
Goa Board Re-evaluation Process of Marks
If any student wishes to apply for re-evaluation/reassessment of marks in one or more subjects he/she can apply for the same. Goa Board conducts the re-evaluation process with the help of schools. To apply for the re-evaluation process you can follow the steps given below.
- Go to the official website of the Goa Board at gbshse.info. There is no other website that provides the same process.
- Then, hover over the “Students” option and select “Application for Re-evaluation of marks”. Now, click on the “Read More” button.
- The application form for the re-evaluation of mars will be opened. Take a printout of the same.
- Fill in the required details carefully. Submit the form with a copy of Grades attested by Principal and Passing Certificate cum Statement of Grades.
- After submitting the form, you will get a receipt. This receipt shall be kept preserved till the result of the verification is announced.
After the re-evaluation process is ended, the board will declare the result(re-evaluated) on their website. Students can check their results by providing details given in the receipt. If there are any changes in the marks it will be reflected in the result. Thereafter, students can collect their new mark sheet (only if there is any change) from their respective schools.

Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (abbreviated as GBSHSE) is the only state board responsible for secondary education in the Goa state. The board came into existence on May 27, 1975, under The Goa, Daman & Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Act passed in 1975.
