TNDGE E.S.L.C Examination for Private Candidates Key Features

Every year Directorate of Government Examinations of Tamil Nadu conducts exams once in a year in the month of December. But due to certain issues, the ESLC exams 2018 are conducted during the months of Jan-Feb. This enables candidates to appear for the exams without compromising their studies.

1. ESLC private exam 2018 is going to be held for the subjects Tamil, Maths, English, Science and Social Studies. Duration of each ESLC exam will be 150 minutes (2 ½ hours).
2. Candidates who will score 35% or more than 35% marks in each of the five subjects will be considered pass in ESLC examination result and will be awarded a pass certificate.
3. Students who are 12 ½ years as on 1st December of every year are eligible to appear for the TNDGE ESLC exam.
4. ESLC exam application fee is only lNR 135 which is to be paid in the form of Treasury Challan for mofussil candidates and in the form of DD for Chennai City Candidates.
5. Along with the application, form candidates are required to submit age proof certificate along with ESLC private examination fee in the form of challan or DD.
