How to check CISCE ICSE Result 2020, ISC Result 2020:
The online result is available on the two websites of CISCE, which are – results.cisce.org and cisce.org. To check the result, students need to follow the steps as follows:

Step 2: Next, the students have to select their respective course from the dropdown menu and then enter the following details –
- UID.
- Index number.
Step 3: Submit the login details after which your result will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Finally, students can download and save a copy of it on their device. Students can also take a print out of the result for future reference.

How to Download CISCE ICSE and ISC Marks Sheet from Digi Locker
The marksheet will be available after 48 hours. The candidates can check below the steps to access Digi Locker to get their CISCE ICSE and ISC marksheet:
Step 1: Go to digilocker.gov.in.
Step 2: If you do not have a Digi locker create one by using the sing up option. Create an account and access the marksheet.
Step 3: If you have an account then enter Aadhaar / Mobile / Username to sign in and access the marksheet.
How is CISCE ICSE, ISC Result 2020 Calculated?
Unlike every yer, this year, the result for CISCE class 10 and 12 has been evaluated very differently. Since exams got cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, CISCE board has to cancel few examination. Hence, now the assessment of ICSE result 2020 and ISC Result 2020 has been done on the basis of these 3 factors:
- Average of best 3 subject marks has been calculated.
- Total marks secured in subject project and practical work.
- Percentage of marks secured in project and practical work of the subject.
ICSE Result calculation process for class 10th:
Like class 12 students, for the class 10 students too, students are evaluated based on detailed analyses of the data from the past board examinations from the years 2015 to 2019 as well as the year 2020 board examination.
However, for the rest of the pending examinations having components of internal assessments i.e. Geography, Biology, Economics, Hindi, and Group III papers, the assessment will be done using the schemes below:
- First, obtain the Paper Board Marks Percentage. The formula for it is: 0.7 A + 0.3 B
A = Average of candidates best (3 / 2 / 1) subject marks in the board examinationFor candidates who have appeared in three papers, take the best two scoresFor candidates who have appeared for two papers, take the better one.For a candidate who has appeared in only one paper, only that paper can be considered.B = Percentage subject internal assessment
- Now the board marks of the paper is determined using the formula: Paper board marks percentage X Weightage for board marks
For Hindi, Geography, Biology, and Economics, the board marks are out of 80, and hence the weightage for board marks should be 0.8.
For Group III, with internal assessment, the board marks are out of 100, hence the weightage will be equal to 1.
- Final marks for Art 5 paper will be = Marks for the paper itself
- For all other papers with internal assessment components, the final marks will be calculated as =
Final marks = paper board marks + paper internal assessment
ISC Result calculation process for class 12th:
Apart from Elective English and Art subjects, students are evaluated based on detailed analyses of the data from the past board examinations from the years 2015 to 2019 as well as the year 2020 board examination.
Elective English and Art subjects, the evaluation of score is done as:
For Geography, Sociology, Psychology, Business Studies, Biology, and Home Science:
- First, the subject board marks percentage is calculated using the formula: 0.7 A + 0.3 B
A = Average of a candidates best three subject marks in the board examinationB = Percentage subject Project & Practical Work
- Then board marks for the subject are calculated, using the formula: subject board marks percentage X weightage for board marks.
For the subjects Geography, Sociology, Psychology, Biology, and Home Science, the board marks are out of 70, and hence the weightage for board marks is 0.7.
For the subject Business Studies, the board marks are out of 80, and hence the weightage for board marks should be 0.8.
- Thus the final marks are = Paper board marks + subject project and practical work
For Elective English, use the following formula:
Final marks = Average percentage score obtained in English language (paper 1) and literature in English (Paper 2)
For Art Paper 5 use the following formula:
Final marks = Average percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the other art papers taken by the candidate in the board exam.

CISCE ICSE, ISC 2020 Re-valuation
CISCE allows the students to apply for rechecking, if they are not satisfied with their result. The provision to apply for ICSE ISC rechecking is provided online at cisce.org. Students can apply for rechecking in those subjects only in which they had appeared for.
To submit the rechecking form, candidates will have to pay an amount of Rs. 1000 per subject for ICSE ISC papers.
- The rechecking form will be released on July 10 and students will need to submit it by 16 July 2020.
ICSE ISC Compartment Exam 2020
In the year 2019, CISCE conducted compartmental examinations for ICSE and ISC exam for the first time. Compartment exams are the second chance given to the students to pass the exam, however, for the year 2020, CISCE has not confirmed this. The Council has notified that it shall conduct ICSE ISC exam 2020 for the candidates to improve their marks if the situation gets better.

CISCE usually announced ICSE and ISC result in the month of May. However, this year it got postponed due to corona virus pandemic. The exams were to be held in the month of March but got postponed due to the lockdown and COVID. Then, the board decided to hold the exams in July 2020. However, looking at the situation it was further postponed and ultimate cancelled by the board.
