How are Schools Preparing to Conduct Online Pre Board Exams?
The pre board exams will be conducted in online mode in the month of December. Students will need a laptop, webcam, a good internet connectivity, etc in order to prepare for the board examinations. Several schools hoped that with schools reopening they could conduct the pre-board exams offline. However, now state government has announced that the schools especially in Delhi shall remain shut till the end of the year or until the vaccine is available.
Now, with the pre-board exams being held online, schools have a major concern that students should get an experience of writing the exam with the complete syllabus and ensure that no further means are used by the students. The following ways by which the school authorities shall conduct CBSE pre-board exams in 2021 –
- AI-based platforms.
- Webcam based tests.
- Parents to act as invigilators.
CBSE 10th pre Board Exams 2021 Using AI Softwares
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the newest technology which has been adopted by the education system. Ever since the schools have been closed, virtual classes have taken over the entire academic year of the students. Though online classes has its own up and down but teachers and students have made it to possible to conduct these classes successfully and complete the syllabus. Now, for conducting the pre-board exams online, the paper shall be divided into two parts. This way, students can write and submit both parts in a day or two. Additionally, this will make the logistics of converting the photos of their answers into PDFs easier for the students and for the teachers to evaluate it.
Also, many schools have advised the students to use two devices – one device can be used to download the question paper and other device in which the camera can be on to continuously monitor them. However, one roadblock for this is that many students may not have two devices for this.
Will CBSE Pre Board Exam Date 2021 Class 10 be held Offline?
Schools in Delhi are still hoping to conduct pre-board exams in offline mode later when the online evaluation is completed. The board exams will be conducted in the same format as the board exams are conducted. One of the school principal discussed the concern of conducting online exam is that they cannot force the students to open the webcams if they are not comfortable doing so. Hence, a solution for this is to conduct oral examinations for an honest assessment.
