The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted class 10th and 12th compartmental examinations 2020 from September 20 till 28, 2020. The board has declared class 12th result on October 09, 2020. The board declared the class 12th compartment result is a record time of eight days. As per some newspaper reports, about 1,50,198 appeared for class 10th compartment exam and 87,651 candidates appeared for class 12th exam. CBSE told Supreme Court (SC) during a hearing that it will declare the compartment exam results for class 12 on or before October 10, 2020. Hence, students can check their result online at the board’s official website, cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in. To check the result, students will need to log in by entering details like roll number, centre number, date of birth, school number, and admit card id.

CBSE 10th 12th compartment result 2020 date and time
It is expected that CBSE is going to declare compartment exam result for class 10th, 12th today. However, if not today then the board is surely going to declare the compartment result tomorrow, i.e on October 10, 2020. Last year, the board declared the result in the evening, hence, the same is expected for this year as well.

How to check CBSE compartment exam results 2020?
To check the result for CBSE compartment exam for class 10th and 12th, students can check the instructions as provided below:
- Visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.nic.in.
- On the homepage of the website, click on the relevant link for checking the result.
- After this, you will need to login by entering details like – roll number, centre number, date of birth, school number, and admit card id.
- Click on the ‘submit’ button after which your result is declared on the screen.
- Lastly, you can check your result and download or take a print out of the compartment result.
CBSE 10th, 12th Compartment exam 2020: CBSE conducted the compartment exam at more than 500 test centers
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the board decided to increase the number of test centers for compartment exam. Hence, the exam was conducted at 591 test centers. Furthermore, all the necessary precautions were being taken care of at the examination centers, for example – masks were provided at the examination center, students were allowed to carry hand sanitizer, their own water bottle inside the exam center, etc.
CBSE board instruction regarding waiver of fees
The Delhi High Court directed the government to consider in 2 weeks, CBSE PIL for waive off fees of 30 lakh children in class 10th and class 12th. The Delhi High Court has directed Delhi and Central Govt. to take the PIL on public interest litigation filed for waiving exam fees of CBSE board across the country.
