Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the class 10 board exam result today, May 29 on the official website, http://www.cbse.nic.in. And thus the 4 toppers with highest marks 499/500 were revealed this year. Prakhar Mittal is one of them. CBSE Class 10 Topper Prakhar Mittal did his class 10 schooling from DPS Gurgaon. Our other toppers are Rimzhim Agarwal from R.P. Public School, Bijnor, Nandini Garg from Scottish INTL School, Shamli and Sreelakshmi G belongs who belonged to Cochin and persuaded class 10th from Bhavans Vidyalaya. Interestingly this year we had 4 toppers in class 10. One of them is Prakhar Mittal, he has shared this proud moment with us. In an Exclusive interview with AglaSem, he has shared his journey to success. Let us walk with him.
His Reaction On success
Q. How are you feeling about your success, Did you expected to top the exams?
Ans. I am really overwhelmed with the results, I cant explain in words how I feel about my result and success but I didnt expect to top the board examination. I thought I will be able to score up to 90% only.
His Preparation Strategy
Q. What was your preparation strategy for exams?
Ans.- I used to study consistently throughout the year according to a well-planned study schedule for exams so that exams didnt felt like a burden to me .
He added, I was taking coaching from FIIT JEE for both class 10th and engineering at the same time.
On Parents Support
Q. How did your parents support you throughout the exam phase?
Ans.- My parents didnt pressurize me to study. They supported me a lot during the entire preparation and exam phase. They were really supportive that they didnt even stop me from pursuing extracurricular activities during exams to relieve stress.
His Future Plans
Q. What do you plan to pursue in your future?
Ans.- I would like to opt. For Science stream as I wish to study Engineering after completing my 12th.
his Success Mantra
Q. What was your success mantra, please share it with us?
Ans.- “You dont have to spend 8-10 hours on studies just be regular and focus on the subjects you feel are difficult”, said Prakhar Mittal.

A total of 16,38,428 students appeared for the class 10th board exam this year. The pass percentage of class 10th result is 86.70%. The tops 3 regions in CBSE class 10th result are Trivandrum, Chennai, and Ajmer. Prakhar Mittal, Rimzhim Aggrawal, Nandini Gard, and Shreelakshmi G are the topper. And they share the top position with 499 marks out of 500. Trivandrum is at the top with 99.6 %, Chennai stood second with 97.37% and in the third position is Ajmer with 91.86%.
