CBSE Class 10 Science Analysis 2021-22 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the class 10 Science Term 1 exam on December 2, 2021. The exam start at 11:30 AM and ended at 1:00 PM. Now that the exam is over, students can check the paper review by the experts to know the number of good attempts in the examination. As per the notification released by the Board, the students will be given 20 minutes of reading time which was 15 minutes in the previous year. The Answer script will be an OMR sheet therefore students are advised to answer all the questions even if they don’t know the answers. CBSE has also divided the internal assessment marks for the class 10th 2021-2022. The marks have been divided into ten-ten for both terms. CBSE Science Class 10 exam for Term I will be of a maximum of 40 marks.

CBSE 10th Term 1 Science Exam Pattern 2022
The students of CBSE Class 10 must understand the major modifications made to academic, syllabus division, examination schedule and paper pattern for Board Exam 2021-2022. As of now, the CBSE has not eliminated any portion of the Class 10 Syllabus that was released earlier. However, the board will issue the rationalised syllabus for both Term 1 and Term 2 based on which the exams will be carried out at the end of each term. Based on this assumption, Students will have to prepare a 50-50 per cent syllabus for both terms. - The Question Paper contains three sections.
- The maths question paper is usually divided into 3 sections namely, A,B and C
- All the questions asked are compulsory, however some sections have an option to attempt the required number of questions.
- The no. of questions asked in the paper are around 50
- Section – A contains 20 questions and students have to attempt any 16 questions.
- Section – B has 20 questions and students have to attempt any 16 questions.
- Section – C will have 10 questions which will be Case based and candidates have to attempt any 8 questions.

Previous year analysis of CBSE Class 10 Science
Since the last academic session, 2020-2021 didn’t have any board examination it’s difficult to provide the analysis for the same. However, prior to that year, The paper was quite easy. Most of the questions pattern were similar to questions asked in previous years. On the level of difficulty faced by students, Students found Section D a bit difficult as it was the lengthiest section and needed a deeper understanding. All the questions were taken from the NCERT textbooks only. As per the available data, a score of 60+ was easily achievable in the paper of the previous year. Since the paper pattern has been changed this year, we expect a hike in the average score of the students.
CBSE Board Exam 2021-22 Qualifying Marks for Science
The current assessment scheme is similar to the semester-based system at any college and university. Two separate exams will be held at the end of each Term and the results of both exams will add to the final score of a student. Marks of Internal Assessment will also be considered for calculating the overall scores like in previous years assessments. The internal assessment marks are divided 10-10 each for both the term. The total percentage required for the student should be above 33% or more to qualify for the examination.
