Last year, the admit card for regular students was available from January 30. Whereas, the private students were issued admit card on January 19. How To Attain Class 10th, 12th Admit Card For Regular Students
All the regular students of class 10th and 12th have to visit their respective schools to collect their admit card. The students can follow the steps mentioned below to obtain their admit card.
Step.1- CBSE releases the class 10th and 12th admit card for regular students at a school login. So, only the school heads can download the admit card.
Step.2- The school heads need to login using the user id and password to download the admit card for all the desired students.
Step.3- Now, all the desired students need to visit their respective schools to obtain the admit card.
Step.4- After visiting the school, the students need to contact the respective authority of the examination.
Step.5- Once you have attained the admit card, check all the details present on it carefully.
Step.6- Now, take your admit card along with you. Also, do not forget to carry it on each day of examination.
Steps To Download CBSE Admit Card For Private Candidates
All the private students of class 10th and 12th can download the admit card by following the easy steps mentioned below.
1st Step- Firstly, visit the official website. To do so, you can click on the link provided on this page.
2nd Step- After clicking on the link, a new page of login will appear in front of you.
3rd Step- On this page, you need to select the region first. After selecting your region you have to select from the given 3 options
- Application Number (Enter Application Number)
- Previous Year Roll Number (Enter Previous Roll Number and Select Year)
- Candidate’s Name (Enter Your Name, Mother’s Name and Father’s Name)
4th Step- Once you have filled the details, click on the “Proceed” button.
5th Step- Your result will appear on the screen. You can check and download the same for future purposes.
Changes Made By CBSE Regarding Admit Card
In 2019, CBSE made some changes related to the admit card. It was found that many parents used to the complaint on a later basis regarding the mistakes in the admit card. To avoid such problems, CBSE has made it mandatory for the students to get their admit card duly signed by the parents. Also, no admit card will be accepted if there is no parent’s signature on it. Apart from this, CBSE has decided to allow the private students to enter the exam hall even if there is no signature on their admit card.

Important Instructions For Examinations
Here, in this session, we have discussed some of the important instructions which a student should keep in mind while appearing in the exam.
- Before leaving your place, make sure that you are carrying all the important documents required in the exam centre.
- The students should try to reach the exam centre at least 15 minutes before the start time of the exam.
- Maintain silence and stay in the queue at the time of frisking and document verification.
- No student is allowed to go anywhere in between the exam. You can either go before the exam or after the exam.
- Any student found using unfair means practices will not be allowed to give further examination. Also, strict actions will be taken against the students appearing in the exam.
- No unauthorised stationery items or electronic gadgets are allowed inside the exam hall. If found any will be kept outside the exam centre.
- Before leaving the exam hall, make sure that you submit your answer sheet to the invigilator present at that time.
- The invigilator will not grant permission to any student for leaving the exam centre before the end time.
