CBSE Class 12th Examinations 2018

CBSE conducted the Class 12th examination from March 5 to April 13, 2018. Examinations were held at 4138 centers in India and 71 centers in foreign countries. Approximately 11,86,306 students appeared for the exams. The overall pass percentage was 83.01%. Girls outshone boys this year too as they achieved 88.31%. On the other hand, boys received 78.99%. Board released the result for all the streams at the same time. It was announced on May 26, 2018. A girl from Noida topped the board by securing 99.8% i.e. 499 marks out of 500. She was from Arts stream. While foreign countries secured 94.94 overall pass percentage.

Despite the paper leak, the board announced the result on time. This year Economics paper was conducted again due to the paper leak. About 91,818 students got the compartment. 8.3 percent of the students have to reappear for the examinations. Students ought to put their full efforts to clear the examinations.
