Eligibility Criteria for CBSE 12th Compartment 2018

Now, students who are going to apply for the compartment examinations must first check the eligibility criteria which is mentioned below.

  • The candidates who appeared for the examinations March 2018 and got a compartment. Then he/ she is only eligible to appear for the compartment exam in that particular subject only.
  • A student with 6 subjects in the 12th class and got compartment in two subjects then also he/ she is allowed to appear for the compartment exam of any one of two subjects.
  • Also, a student with 6 subjects and declared pass but not able to clear the one exam. Then he/ she can appear for the examinations going to held in the month of July as the improvement category.

How to Apply for Class 12th Compartment Examinations?

Students need to know the procedure to access the application form and also apply for the examination. So for their convenience, we have given below the steps. Students can view these and refer to these while applying for the examination.

  1. Visit the link which is given above and click on the 12th Compartment Application form link.
  2.  Now, you will be directed to a new page which will have a login window. Enter your details like Roll number, School code, Center no and the previous if you got the compartment in 2017.
  3.  Submit the application and note down the Application ID.

  4. Further, upload your colored photograph and signature.
  5. Now make the payment by clicking on Fee payment option.
  6. At last, take out the printout of the confirmation page and sign it.
  7. Submit the signed copy of confirmation page and a copy of mark sheet to “Regional Officer, CBSE Regional Office” within 7 days of application.

About CBSE Compartment Result 2018

This year total 1,86,067 students got the compartment in the 12th class examination. The board is going to organize the examinations in the month of July. After the examination, the board will come up with the result in the month of August. The compartmental exam is the second chance provided by the board to those students who have not able to clear the examinations in the first attempt.

If we talk about 12th class examinations for the year 2018 then around 11.8 lakh students appeared for the Class 12th examination. This year the overall pass percentage was 83.01%. The result was declared on May 26, 2018. The CBSE topper achieved 99.8% from Arts stream. Girls outshone boys by achieving 88.31%. While boys managed to secure only 78.99%.
