CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2021 – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled class 10th examination this year due to rising COVID-19 cases. The Board Exams for Class Xth which were going to be held from 4th May to June 14th, 2021 are hereby canceled. - The time duration for each exam mentioned on the time table will be followed strictly. So, the students are required to reach the exam centre on time, otherwise, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
- The answer books will be distributed 30 minutes before the writing time.
- The students are required to fill all the important information on the answer sheet before start writing.
- Assistant Superintendents will check the particulars and sign on the sheet if every detail would be correct.
- After 15 minutes of distributing the answer sheets, the students will be provided with the question paper.

About CBSE

Official Notification By CBSE for Class 10th Exam Date 2021
After the official announcement by Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Twitter for CBSE exam dates 2021, the board released a notification for the same at its official website. The image of the official notification is provided below.
Reduction of class 10th syllabus to 30%
Due to COVID-19, the schools have been closed all over India since March. Due to this, the academic session was delayed and online classes were conducted. Hence, to reduce the academic burden on students and teachers alike, the board decided to cut down some portion of the syllabus.
Board exams starting from May
With the official announcement made by the Education Minister, Mr. Pokhriyal, finally all the rumors about the exam date / month for CBSE board exams were put to an end. Finally, it was announced that the board will conduct upcoming exams in 2021 from Maty 4 onwards.
CBSE 10th board exams start on 4 May: In a live webinar, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the following important points:
- CBSE 10th exams starts from 04 May 2021.
- The exam will end by 10 June 2021.
- Practicals for board exams starts on 01 March 2021.
- Result will be out by 15 July.
Other than this, the minster wished all the students good luck for the exams and concluded the webinar on a positive note.
CBSE 10th board exam date 2021 discussion after February – In a webinar held on December 22, the Education Minister addressed the following queries of the students:
- Board exam date / month – It was confirmed by the education minister that the board exams cannot be conducted in JAN-Feb as they are generally conducted. Discussion on CBSE 10th exam date / month will start after February 2021.
- The exams will be held in offline mode only.
- Some students are not being able to go to labs in the school and hence they are not prepared for the practical exams. However, to this, Education Minister assured the students that if the practical exams to be conducted in school will seem not reasonable, different alternatives will be considered for the same.
No CBSE 10th board exam 2021 in February – March
A day after the newspaper reports claimed that a top CBSE official has said that the board exams cannot be delayed any further and will be conducted as usual in February-March. The board has also advised to the students to not to believe any rumors on the social media and visit the official website of CBSE for any updates on this.
Delhi Govt asks CBSE to postpone Board Exams 2021 to May
Delhi Government has written a letter to the CBSE urging it to postpone the March 2021 Board Examinations to May. This academic year, the schools in India have remained closed for nearly 7 months. In order to give students with a reasonable time to study in person in schools, it is requested that the on-going academic session should be extended beyond March and CBSE board exams can be conducted not before May 2021.
